What did you learn?

What are 2 or 3 things that “stuck” and you think you’ll continue to use?

I learned that you don’t have to know everything about Open to use and promote it. I really liked being able to do the small challenges and try new things. I used the Open Attribution Builder to put in the attribution for my photo – these chickens in honour of  the OPEN ETC free range ed tech with a bonus ‘open/abierto’ sign. There was agave cooking in there and the chickens seemed pretty happy.

I had a few NIC people join me on the challenges and I created a Google doc where we could share what we discovered. I will be referring back to that document and the OER challenge page for helpful reminders. I had set up a SPLOT a while back and am cooking up ways to use it for future projects and/or workshops.

Thanks Leva and Tannis, I really enjoyed this activity. Great challenges that were easy to complete but also challenging enough to learn something about each one.
