What did you learn?

Although this series was targeted to those who are new to open education, I still found it incredibly informative as someone who has worked in the field for a few years. In my day-to-day work, I find that I speak with instructional faculty about open education in broad brush strokes. This series has encouraged me to test out tools that are new to me. I now have the confidence to promote tools like hypothes.is and SPLOT to the instructors I work with.

I find that instructors are quick to embrace the philosophy behind open education (after all, what’s not to love?!), but struggle to envision what it looks like in practice. I now have a rich collection of examples I can point to thanks to our Open Education Challenge Series hosts!
